Ziliqa and Maicoin Co-Found Security Token Exchange

The Crypto Projects Ziliqa and Maicoin have co-founded the Hg exchange. The exchange is not another crypto exchange. Instead, it focuses on offering security tokens. It wants to attract both the professional and the average investor. The management of the exchange has outlined very ambitioned goals for the future: “It is envisaged that Hg Exchange will provide access to high-growth startups and also decacorns [startups with a capital/valuation of more than $10 billions] such as Uber, Airbnb, Space X, Grab and Didi Chuxing, which are currently not within reach of the average investor.”   The Exchange is situated in Singapore.

UK’s FCA To Hold Consultative Sessions To Deliberate On Cryptocurrencies

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) of the United Kingdom is planning to hold series of sessions that will deliberate on Cryptocurrency regulation. To the excitement of the Cryptocurrency community, the FCA is recognizing the implications of Digital Tokens in the UK economy. These deliberative sessions will shed light on what activities need to be regulated to streamline Cryptocurrency markets.

Vaneck Withdraws ETF Filing – No Automatic Approval

The SEC has announced yesterday that the Cboe BZX Exchange Inc has withdrawn its filing for a Bitcoin ETF. Vaneck Solidx bitcoin ETF was the latest prospect for the crypto market in the US to get an approval. As no decision on the SEC by the 27th February would have led to automatic approval. The SEC undergoes currently a shut down in many of its executive roles due to the general shutdown of the US government. Gabor Gurbacs, Director of Digital Asset Strategy of Vaneck, tweeted the following:
