Telegram & Wirecard Cooperate On Blockchain Payment Solution

Telegram and Wirecard are cooperating to create a common blockchain project. Wirecard announced this cooperation in a press release (German) today. The German company revealed that it is working together with TON Labs. The developers of Telegrams Open Network (TON). The blockchain will serve as a common platform for digital finance services. Wirecard is a German digital payment service and Telegram is an originally Russian instant messaging platform. Telegram announced to launch an ICO in 2018. However, the company called it off. The new partnership looks like GRAM will not become an issue anymore in the near future.

French Deputies Amend Insurance Contracts Laws To Allow Firms To Invest In Cryptos

French Deputies have amended the Insurance Code on the PACTE (Plan d’action pour la croissance et la transformation des entreprises) Act of France’s laws. This is now opening a door for Insurance contracts to have a wide range of investments options for long term capital gains. According to Attorney Emilien Bernard-Alzias from Simmons & Simmons Law firm, the local firms will be able to invest in specialized professional funds (SPFs) that include Digital Assets. Hence, France-based Insurance Life underwriters will be able to include Cryptos as investments assets in life insurance contracts.
