Bitpanda has received an official license as a payment service provider in Austria. The crypto exchange announced that it received the license from the financial market authorities Austrian (Finanzmarktaufsicht Österreich; FMA). An important step for the Austrian exchange to expand its business into adjacent sectors.

The Nordic Growth Market (NGM) in Sweden is the first exchange to offer ETPs that contain cryptocurrencies. This enables investors to trade XRP and Litecoin on a traditional exchange for the first time in Europe. NGM is a subsidiary of the Stuttgarter Börse, a south-German exchange.
