Quantum Solutions to Acquire 3,000 BTC for Corporate Treasury

Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed AI firm Quantum Solutions will acquire as many as 3,000 BTC over 12 months to diversify its treasury portfolio, per July 24 release.
Quantum Solutions plans to acquire up to 3,000 BTC within a year, integrating Bitcoin as a reserve asset alongside its AI and gaming operations. The company trades under ticker 2338.T on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The program launches with an initial $10 million investment from Integrated Asset Management (Asia) Limited, the company’s majority shareholder. Purchases will be executed through wholly owned Hong Kong subsidiary GPT Pals Studio Limited.
The ¥53.8 billion ($350 million) purchase program will be phased based on market conditions, capital availability and regulatory requirements. The company will adjust timing and scale based on market conditions, capital availability and regulatory requirements.
We are uniquely positioned to build a Bitcoin-first capital structure. Our goal is not only to accumulate Bitcoin, but to do so with institutional-grade discipline. We are in advanced discussions with top-tier asset managers, sovereign wealth allocators, and fintech leaders to scale our treasury roadmap responsibly and rapidly,
said Francis Zhou, CEO of Quantum Solutions.
“Quantum Solutions demonstrates a clear strategic vision and determination,” added Tak Cheung Yam, founder of Integrated Asset Management (Asia). His firm’s backing provides the initial funding for the Bitcoin acquisition program.
Quantum Solutions develops artificial intelligence and gaming products from its Tokyo headquarters. The company has not disclosed specific timing for individual Bitcoin purchases or which exchanges it will use for the transactions.
The 3,000 BTC target ranks among the largest corporate Bitcoin strategies by a Japanese public company. Quantum Solutions will provide ongoing disclosures under Tokyo Stock Exchange regulations if the program materially affects its financial position.
The company plans to hold the Bitcoin on its balance sheet as a long-term asset rather than trading the cryptocurrency. GPT Pals Studio Limited will handle the actual purchase and custody arrangements for the digital assets.
Quantum Solutions has not specified whether it will use dollar-cost averaging or make larger periodic purchases. The company indicated it will monitor Bitcoin market conditions and regulatory developments in Japan and Hong Kong before executing transactions.
